Alabama
This SPA provides Alabama with approval to provide 12 months of continuous postpartum coverage to individuals enrolled in its CHIP program.

North Carolina
This SPA demonstrates compliance with requirements in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) that 1) mandate coverage of COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccines and their administration without cost-sharing or amount, duration, or scope limitations; and 2) require states to cover, without cost sharing, the treatment of conditions that may seriously complicate COVID- 19 treatment, during the period when a beneficiary is diagnosed with or is presumed to have COVID-19.

Louisiana

Through this SPA, the state has demonstrated compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) section 11405(b)(1) to cover adult vaccines, without cost sharing. Additionally, this SPA documents the state’s compliance with the longstanding requirement to cover children’s vaccines under current regulations at 42 CFR §§ 457.410(b)(2) and 457.520(b)(4), which requires states to cover age-appropriate vaccines in accordance with the recommendations of the ACIP without cost sharing.

Nevada
This SPA removes all state-specific exceptions to the continuous eligibility period for children to be consistent with CHIP regulations 42 CFR 457.342. This regulation only permits certain federal exceptions to the continuous eligibility period.
