Utah
Through this SPA, the state updates the CHIP out of pocket maximum member notification process. The state will use a new Provider Reimbursement Information System (PRISM) process that will track, calculate and inform members of when the 5 percent out of pocket maximum cost has been met.

Alabama
Through this SPA, Alabama expands its ALL Babies coverage to an additional 33 counties (for a total of 36 counties). ALL Babies provides CHIP eligibility for children from conception to the end of pregnancy (also known as the “unborn” option) with family incomes up to and including 312 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL) whose pregnant parents are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid or CHIP.

Alabama
Through this SPA, Alabama seeks to implement an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Services (IECMH) health services initiative (HSI) program, for the purpose of increasing workforce capacity for IECMH. The Alabama Department of Mental Health will establish the evidence-based Project ECHO Model® learning framework to train a variety of professionals (childcare workers, head start staff, mental health clinicians, etc.) statewide working directly with children ages birth to five and their families.

Indiana
This SPA demonstrates compliance with requirements in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) that 1) mandate coverage of COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccines and their administration without cost-sharing or amount, duration, or scope limitations; and 2) require states to cover, without cost sharing, the treatment of conditions that may seriously complicate COVID- 19 treatment, during the period when a beneficiary is diagnosed with or is presumed to have COVID-19.

Delaware
Through this SPA, the state aligns its services provided to children under the CHIP state plan with services provided to children under the Medicaid state plan, such that coverage of all benefits provided to children under the CHIP state plan are the same as coverage provided under the Medicaid State plan, including Early Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) services.
