Medicaid State Plan Amendments

Reimbursement rates for inpatient and outpatient hospital services.

The purpose of this SPA is to remove 1932(a) pages originally used for the State’s Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative from the State Plan. These pages are no longer needed because CMS’ review and approval of the State’s managed care contract under 1915(a) authority will be used for this voluntary Medicaid managed care program.

This amendment is to cover adult vaccines approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and administered in accordance with recommendation by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and their administration, without cost sharing.

This amendment is to clarify extended dental services for pregnant women this will include operative, diagnostic, and preventive services.

This amendment is to expand Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) services in alignment with 1115 waiver renewal.

This amendment adjusts the methodology for out-of-state border hospitals, for the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Centers (RHCs).

This amendment is to increase the total compensated amount on all claim types to $250.00 in accordance with Title 42, Chapter IV, Subchapter C, Part 433 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

This amendment proposed to adopt the eligibility group authorized by the Ticket to Work Incentives Improvement Act that serves working individuals who have disabilities.

This amendment is to adopt the changes to the eligibility rules for the Former Foster Care Children eligibility group, as enacted by the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, Pub. L. No. 115-217, section 1002.

This amendment changes the implementation date of the previously approved SPA MN 23-0030.
