CHIP State Amendment Plans
Allows Arkansas to obtain federal funding to expand coverage to otherwise eligible lawfully residing, non-citizen targeted low income children under section 214 of the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009. On October 26, 2017, the state received approval for the same type of amendment under Medicaid SPA, AR-17-0007.
This SPA implements three health services initiatives (HSIs) to improve the health of children by providing title XXI funding to: l) support the Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative, which enhances care coordination and provider education, 2) provide grants to local organizations to promote enrollment of children into the New Jersey Birth Defects and Autism Registry, and 3) support the state's existing Supplemental Prenatal Care Program (SPCP).
This SPA permits Indiana to implement a health services initiative (HSI) to provide lead abatement services in the homes of low-income children and pregnant women.
This SPA makes operational changes related to the administration of Michigan's current health services initiative (HSI) that provides lead abatement services in the homes of low-income children and pregnant women.
