Permits Michigan to modify its current health services initiatives (HSis) to provide lead abatement services in the homes of low-income children and pregnant women effective January 1, 2019 and its poison control HSI effective August l, 2019. 

authorizes use of title XXI admin funding for expenditures for HSI under the plan improving the health of children

Implements a health services initiative (HSI) to provide prenatal monitoring, case management and care coordination services to pregnant women and their infants in Montgomery, Macon, and Russell counties. AL-19-AL-19-0018-RIM expands coverage for unborn children residing in Montgomery, Macon, and Russell counties.

Through this SPA, Alabama is permitted to implement a health services initiative (HSI) to provide prenatal monitoring, case management and care coordination services to low-income, high-risk pregnant women and their infants in Montgomery, Macon, and Russell counties in order to improve pregnancy outcomes and infant health. Patients will receive services during pregnancy and for up to one year post delivery.

Administers the program in accordance with the provisions of the approved Child Health Plan, the requirements of Title XXI and XIX of the Act

Demonstrates compliance with the CHIP managed care regulations.

Compliance with the CHIP managed care regulations and makes technical updates to remove outdated references and clarifies current practices.

Implements mental health parity requirements to ensure that treatment limitations applied to mental health (MH) and substance use disorder (SUD) benefits are no more restrictive than those applied to medical/surgical (M/S) benefits

Demonstrates compliance with the CHIP managed care regulations.
