Medicaid State Plan Amendments

This SPA updates the state’s professional dispensing fees.

To apply disregards, under the authority of section 1902(r)(2) of the Social Security Act, in determining eligibility for certain non-MAGI groups for settlement payments related to the February 3, 2023, train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

This Amendments revises policies regarding its fair hearing process for certain cases. The changes describe the delegation process of certain cases to the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the roles and responsibilities between the Medicaid agency and DHS.

Requests an extension of the current exception from the Recovery Audit Contractor Program.

This amendment updates the maximum daily coverage limits for long term home health and for acute home health due to a 2% across-the-board rate increase.

This SPA amends the provision to authorize coverage of select weight loss drugs when medically necessary.

This SPA authorizes coverage of select prescribed drugs as well as coverage of drugs authorized for importation by the Food and Drug Administration to mitigate the effects of a drug shortage.

This SPA assures that data from behavioral health home providers will be included in the state's mandatory core set measure reporting.

This SPA amends the State Plan for coverage of drugs authorized for import by the Food and Drug Administration when medically necessary during drug shortages.

This amendment is to add Behavioral Health Support Specialists as providers to the Medicaid State Plan.
