Medicaid State Plan Amendments

This plan amendment proposes to reimburse nursing home bed hold days for hospitalization for the five New York Veteran's nursing homes.

This plan continues the Alternative Payment Methodology (APM) for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Rural Health Clinics (RHC). This APM will provide coverage without copay or cost-sharing, for the administration of COVID-19 vaccines by staff who have the authority under state law to administer the vaccine, in the FQHC and RHC settings during a COVID-19 vaccine-only visit.

This plan amendment proposes an update to the fee schedule date, link and clarifies fee-schedule language to Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

This amendment adds doula services to the alternative benefit plan.

This SPA adds Enhanced Community Health Worker services as a preventive services.

This amendment clarifies coverage of durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies.

This amendment proposes several clarifications to the MaineCare Accountable Communities (AC) Program.

This amendment is to update State Plan assurances in accordance with federally mandated quality reporting requirements for the Child Core Set and the behavioral health quality measures on the Adult Core Set outlined in 42 CFR 431.16 and 437.10 through 437.15.

This amendment strikes references of a 60-day postpartum policy to the 12-month postpartum policy as approved under SPA TN 22-0014.
