Medicaid State Plan Amendments

This SPA provied an exemption to the State requirements to contract with a Medicaied Recovery Audit Contractor from July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2027.

This amendment is part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (CAA, 2023), Section 5122, which addressed Medicaid and CHIP requirements for certain Medicaid and CHIP eligible juvenile beneficiaries who are pending disposition of charges.

This amendment extends to the exemption for a Recovery Audit Contractor.

This plan amendment entitled “Nursing Facility MQIP for Dates of Service January through March 2025”, updates the quarterly pool amount and total Medicaid day count for New Hampshire's nursing facility supplemental payment, also known as MQIP, for both
private and non-state government owned and operated facilities.

This plan amendment proposes an increase to FQHCs by $50 per encounter and shall be reimbursed through an APM.

This amendment proposes to add the recently signed intra-agency agreement between Maryland Medicaid and the Office of HealthCare Quality (OHCQ) to the Maryland State Plan.

This plan amendment titled, “Nursing Facility Reimbursement: Change of Ownership (CHOW)" updates the process for setting rates for nursing facilities when ownership has changes.

This amendment reimburses Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) for the delivery and provision of Methadone medication assisted treatment in a rehabilitation setting or long-term care setting.

This amendment adds Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants and Dental Therapists to Other Licensed Providers section in the State Plan.

This plan amendment updates buy-back provisions for Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities outlined within the State Plan.
