Medicaid State Plan Amendments

This amendment is relating to an executive reorganization which will rename the Human Services Department (HSD) as the Health Care Authority (HCA). As a new executive department, HCA will administer laws and exercise functions relating to health care purchasing, policy, and regulation for the State of New Mexico.

This amendment authorization is for Health First Colorado to obtain reimbursement for Partial Hospitalization services as defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s 2.5 standards.

This amendment is to establish provisions governing Rural Emergency Hospitals (REH’s).

This SPA updates the state’s professional dispensing fees.

To apply disregards, under the authority of section 1902(r)(2) of the Social Security Act, in determining eligibility for certain non-MAGI groups for settlement payments related to the February 3, 2023, train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

This Amendments revises policies regarding its fair hearing process for certain cases. The changes describe the delegation process of certain cases to the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the roles and responsibilities between the Medicaid agency and DHS.

Requests an extension of the current exception from the Recovery Audit Contractor Program.

This plan amendment updates Supplemental Payment for Pharmacies Furnishing Self-Administered Hormonal Contraceptives.

This plan amendment updates the rates for Adult Vaccination Administration fees.

This plan amendment updates the rates for Private Duty Nursing Services.
