CHIP State Amendment Plans

Modified Adjusted Gross Income MAGI Eligibility.

Describes the state's plan to provide coverage in its separate CHIP, for children subject to Section 2101(f) of the Affordable Care Act as specified in the state's submission of CS14; Children Ineligible for Medicaid as a Result of the Elimination of Income Disregards.

The approval of SPA MI-13-0004 includes approval of the state's alternative single streamlined paper application. The State is also using an interim alternative single streamlined online application and by December 31, 2014, will implement a revised alternative single streamlined online application that addresses CMS concerns outlined in the companion letter issued with this SPA approval.

Provides Coverage in Its Separate CHIP.

To provide coverage in its separate CHIP, for children subject to Section 2101(f) of the Affordable Care Act, as specified in the state's submission of CS14: Children Ineligible for Medicaid as a Result of the Elimination of Income Disregards.

This SPA clarrifies the state's non-financial eligibility policies on residency, citizenship, social security numbers, substitution of coverage, non-payment of premiums, continuous eligibility and presumptive eligibility.

Describe the state's plan to provide coverage in its separate CHIP, for children subjected to Section 2101(f) of the Affordable Care Act, as specified in the state's submission of CS14 Children Ineligible for Medicaid as a result of the Elimination of Income Disregards.

Describes State's Plan to Maintain Medicaid Eligibility for Children Who would Otherwise Be Subject to Section 2101(f) of the Affordable Care Act.

Clarifies State's Non-Financial Eligibility Policies on Residency, Citizenship, Social Security Numbers, Substitution of Coverage, and Non-Payment of Premiums.

Coverts State's Existing Income Eligibility Standards to MAGI Equivalent Standards by Age Group for Children Covered in Its' Title XXI-Funded Medicaid Program.
