Through this SPA, the state updates the employer-sponsored insurance (ESI) deduction methodology for the state’s CHIP health services initiative (HSI) that provides targeted, school-based vision screenings, services and eyeglasses. This SPA applies an updated proxy methodology to all HSI claims developed using real-time third-party eligibility data to account for children who have employer-sponsored coverage.
