This plan amendment revises the nursing facility reimbursement methodology by updating the Direct Care rate component to utilize the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) nursing case-mix component in place of the Resource Utilization Group (RUG-IV) methodology. The SPA also provides for a 5.3 percent rate increase.
