Todd Jones serves as the Deputy Director of the Data and Systems Group (DSG) within the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), providing strategic leadership for national Medicaid and CHIP data and technology initiatives. He oversees efforts to modernize enterprise systems, strengthen data quality and interoperability, and support states in advancing Medicaid and CHIP IT capabilities. With over 20 years of public- and private-sector experience, Todd brings deep expertise in Health IT, data systems modernization, enterprise operations, and federal health program oversight. Before joining CMS, he served as a Deputy Division Director at Johns Hopkins HealthCare, leading Health IT initiatives in clinical data integration, technology modernization, and operational improvement. At CMS, he has also contributed to the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), supporting national quality reporting, data strategy, and systems oversight efforts. Todd holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and maintains certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Foundation, and SAFe Agile leadership. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale system transformation, advanced data-driven decision-making, and strengthened the technological foundation supporting major health programs nationwide.
