Meagan Khau is Deputy Group Director for the Managed Care Group (MCG) within the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In this role, she leads operations for the Medicaid managed care program, with a focus on strengthening data reporting, advancing analytic capabilities, and developing tools to support effective program monitoring and oversight.
Prior to joining MCG, Meagan served as Director of the Data Analytics & Research Group within the CMS Office of Minority Health, where she led enterprise efforts to enhance health data collection, analysis, and reporting. She drove initiatives to advance program development and evaluation and spearheaded the design of data analytics and visualization to inform policy and improve health outcomes for diverse beneficiary populations.
Earlier in her career, Meagan was Deputy Director for the Division of Pharmacy in CMCS, where she oversaw operations of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, supported systems development, advancing operational strategy, and led regulatory implementation to improve program compliance and generate significant cost savings for states and the federal government.
Meagan holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
