Kate Sapra, PhD is the Deputy Director of the Office of Rural Health Transformation. Prior to this role, Kate was Director of the Division of Multi-Payer Models in the State and Population Health Group at the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI) for five years. She joined CMMI in 2016 as a Presidential Management Fellow and has worked with states on multi-payer, systemwide transformation since then. Prior to joining CMMI, she spent eight years conducting public health and clinical research among vulnerable populations, including persons with substance use disorder and low-income women in New York.
