This amendment transfers existing provisions regarding Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) into the new mandatory MAT benefit category pursuant to section 1006(b) of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act. In addition, this amendment permanently removed the end date.
