Individualized Technical Support Opportunities
If your state is interested in receiving any of the individualized technical support outlined below, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your state information and a description of the type of support requested (e.g., Rapid Response, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Model/Payment Design). IAP will offer these types of individualized technical support activities based on available resources. States may request to receive technical support in more than one area.
Rapid Response on Best Practices
This individualized technical support opportunity will provide rapid (three to five business days) turnaround written responses to state requests for strong examples of state Medicaid substance use disorder (SUD) activities. The Rapid Response on Best Practices opportunity can assist states to identify specific state examples, facilitate connections to existing relevant resource materials, and connect states to other states to pursue discussions on topic related to SUD delivery system reform including data analytics, managed care contracting, quality measurement, value-based payment, MAT service and payment design, and provider network assessments.
MAT Model/Payment Design
This individualized technical support opportunity will provide direct technical support to states interested in designing comprehensive MAT service delivery models and corresponding payment approaches. IAP SUD has readily available technical resources and is developing additional resources for states seeking information on service delivery models and corresponding rate design tools for the provision of MAT to individuals with opioid dependence.
