This amendment proposes to address the newly added mandatory benefit for coverage and reimbursement of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in opioid treatment programs (OTPs) and office-based opioid treatment settings in compliance with Section 1006(b) of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment (SUPPORT) for Patients and Communities Act, HR 6, and, Section 1905(a) (29) of the Social Security Act.

This amendment proposes to add silver diamine fluoride treatments to the list of covered EPSDT dental services. 

Effective for services on or after October 1, 2020, Minnesota 20-0017 will authorize the Department to provide ongoing interim payments to hospitals eligible to receive the inpatient hospital supplemental payment.  

This SPA proposes to allow coverage for select maintenance drugs for up to 90 days for Medicaid members after the end of the federal emergency period.
