Effective February 28, 2021, this amendment continues Pennsylvania's authority to make supplemental payments to non-public special rehabilitation nursing facilities. 

Exception from the Medicaid Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) requirements.

updates the physicians’ and other practitioners’ fee schedules.

Updates the durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, supplies (DMEPOS) fee schedule.

This Supplemental Teaching Physician (STP) SPA updates the base year used to determine payments under the Average Commercial Rate(ACR) method. This Plan amendment excludes Greenville, Richland/USC.

Increases the Home Equity Limit for Long-Term Care.

Revises the quarterly nursing home supplemental payment, also known as MQIP

Update to include provision of targeted support management for individuals age 0 through 8 with a developmental disability and individuals age 0 through 21 with a medically complex condition who have been determined eligible for an ICF/ORC level of care and are eligible for Medical Assistance under the State Plan.

Increases the Current Asset Value for Nursing Facilities to account for the increased costs of Nursing Facilities and to provide parameters for the Quality Incentive Add-on Payment to Nursing Facilities.

The categories of providers allowed to order home health services benefit were initially authorized through Disaster Relief SPA DR SPA 20-0003 effective March 1, 2020.
