WV-22-0006

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to increase payments for personal care services, private duty nursing, and behavioral health services using American Rescue Plan Act Section 9817 funds.  The rate increases for personal care services are effective from 4/1/2021-3/31/2022, and the rate increases for private duty nursing and behavioral health services are effective from 7/1/2021-3/31/2022.

UT-22-0026

This SPA demonstrates compliance with requirements in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) that 1) mandate coverage of COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccines and their administration without cost-sharing or amount, duration, or scope limitations; and 2) require states to cover, without cost sharing, the treatment of conditions that may seriously complicate COVID- 19 treatment, during the period when a beneficiary is diagnosed with or is presumed to have COVID-19.

This amendment updates the frequency of Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) dental oral prophylaxis services from eve1y 184 days to eve1y six months.

TX-22-0005

This SPA amends to implement changes to state law meant to further the use of telemedicine and telehealth by allowing the option to receive certain services using an audio-only platform.

SC-22-0004

This SPA provides South Carolina with approval to provide 12 months of continuous postpartum coverage to individuals enrolled in its Medicaid program.
