CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to allow the state to issue a COVID-19 related direct payment program for select providers.

To allow enrollees to also be enrolled in Managed Care for their acute medical care needs, where in previous years they had been carved out into Fee for Service Medicaid.

This amendment add community health workers (CHWs) as a preventive service.

Increases the allowable amount of expenditures to support Graduate Medical Education (GME) from $1,000,000 to $2,518,257.

This amendment establishes coverage of Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs) and reimbursement of CCBHC services using a prospective payment system.

Codify payment methodology for Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICFs/IID) under Attachment 4.19-D of the RI state plan.

This amendment establishes coverage of Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs) and reimbursement of CCBHC services in Kansas Alternative Benefit Plan.

Updates the APG relative weights reimbursement methodology and procedures.

To update the State Plan to be in compliance with federal rules related to third party liability.
