CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to allow the state to implement temporary policies while returning to normal operations after the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to extend the Disaster Relief SPA authority for 10% increase in HCBS state plan reimbursement through 6 months post-PHE to align with Appendix K authority.

LA-22-0016

This SPA amends the provisions governing reimbursement to private non-state intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICFs/IID) in order to revise and streamline the process by which ICFs/IID can request add-on rates for medically qualified beneficiaries receiving above routine care and whose staffing levels exceed the required minimum.

This plan amendment sets the rate for optometry, chiropractic, and podiatry services supplies at the lower of provider charges or 72.4% of the current Maine Medicare rate and by fee schedule for such se1vices not covered by Medicare.

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to waive signature requirements for the dispensing of drugs during the PHE.

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency. The purpose of this amendment is to expand participant direction for 1915(i) State Plan habilitation services.

MA-21-0036

This amendment continues the rate year 2021 reimbursement methods and standards for acute and critical access
inpatient hospital services for one month, and effective November 1, 2021, establishes comprehensive changes for the duration of rate year 2022.
