These SPAs allow the state to transition its separate CHIP program, Kid Care CHIP, to a Medicaid expansion program effective as of October 1, 2020.

ID-20-0011

Idaho recently received approval for Medicaid ABP SPAs ID-19-0011, ID-19-0012, ID-19-0020, and ID-19-0021. In this companion CHIP SPA, the state is adding habilitative intervention services for treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), partial hospitalization to expand outpatient behavioral health services for participants at risk of placement in residential psychiatric facilities, and updates the Primary Care Case Management (PCCM) enrollment processes to align with approved changes to the state’s Medicaid ABP.
