The purpose of this SPA is to amend the provisions governing reimbursement for personal care services (PCS) provided to beneficiaries in the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) program in order to remove outdated language regarding a wage enhancement that is not applicable to the current EPSDT-PCS program.

This amendment is submitted to add two additional provider types to the Other Licensed Provider section of the State Plan.

This amendment makes permanent the addition of Intensive Outpatient Therapy, previously approved under disaster relief authority, remove a prior authorization requirement, and removes some face-to-face service delivery requirements. 

This amendment adds cost reconciliation language to the state plan for Medicaid disproportionate share hospital payments to state government-owned psychiatric hospitals.

This plan amendment authorizes a 4.9% rate increase for Home Health Care services and Medical Social services.

This plan amendment revises the payment rates for rehabilitative services provided in a day setting.

This SPA establishes specific rates for the provision of the monkeypox vaccine.

This plan amendment will implement coverage of COVID-19 related treatment, testing, and vaccinations, without cost sharing.
