To increase Maryland Medical Assistance reimbursement rates for certain dental services by 9.4% for dates of service

This amendment expands the coverage and payment for the use of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) to all HUSKY Health (Medicaid) children and adults who receive dental services.

This amendment clarifies state plan language related to the coverage of ambulatory surgical center services.  This SPA is for clarification purposes and does not propose any policy changes.

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to add a provider type to the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) provider Wage Add-on Incentive Program.

The purpose of this SPA is to assure coverage of COVID-19 treatment, including specialized equipment and therapies (including preventive therapies).
