CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to provide one-time lump sum supplemental payments to non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) providers for the period beginning July 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023. This amendment also waives signature requirements for the dispensing of drugs during the public health emergency, effective March 1, 2020.

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is, effective January 1, 2023, to rescind the temporary rate increases found in section E.2.b.i.I and the temporary rate increases and rate caps found in section E.2.b.i.J of Section 7.4 (approved on March 30, 2022, and effective January 1, 2022, in SPA number ME-22-0006) of the state plan.
