The SPA increases the DMEPOS reimbursement rates to 80% of Medicare. The SPA will also add self-monitoring blood pressure (BP) devices to the DME list for pregnant women at risk for gestational hypertension, and for persons with heart failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

This plan amendment proposes to set the rates for telehealth audio-only codes 99441, 99442 and 99443 at 86 percent of the 2022 Medicare Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) physician fee schedule (PFS).

MI-23-0019

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to allow the state to implement temporary policies while returning to normal operations after the COVID-19 national emergency.  The purpose of this amendment is to a temporary extension to continue the supplemental payment for in-person direct care services provided in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Foster Care Homes, and Homes for the Aged currently authorized in DR SPA 21-0016.
