This amendment changes to Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE) to include the adult group in the eligibility groups for which hospitals may conduct HPE determinations.

This amendment remove all co-payments except those related to delivery of non-emergency services in a hospital emergency room.

To remove the requirement of charging premiums on a sliding fee scale for participants to contribute to the cost of medical assistance for the TWWIIA BBA and Basic coverage groups.

To include an assurance that the state has state laws and regulations in place to comply with section 202 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, which prohibits third parties from refusing payments to the Medicaid program.

This amendment proposes to allow the Division of Medicaid (DOM) to remove copays from Medicaid services.
