Renews authorization for the provision of nursing facility transition services to individuals who currently reside in a nursing facility and have expressed a desire to return to the community, but who have barriers to a nursing facility discharge.

This State Plan Amendment is updating the inpatient hospital reimbursement to include a new supplemental payment. The new supplemental payment is the Psych Adjustment Payment.

This amendment proposes to increase the Personal Needs Allowance for individuals receiving care in institutional settings.

Nursing home Rate Changes

This Amendment makes changes to personal care assistance (PCA) Services.

CMS is approving this time-limited state plan amendment to respond to the COVID-19 national emergency. The purpose of this amendment is to 1) waive signature requirements for the dispensing of drugs during the COVID-19 public health emergency; and 2) authorize reimbursement rates for COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment and administration that are set equal to 100% of the Medicare national payment allowance reimbursement rate or comparable code.

This amendment renews Indiana’s 1915(i) State Plan HCBS benefit.
