This SPA provides Mississippi with approval to provide 12 months of continuous postpartum coverage to individuals enrolled in its Medicaid program.

This plan amendment updates the methods and standards used to determine the rates of Personal Care Assistants.

The purpose of this amendment is to allow the Division of Medicaid (DOM) to include beneficiaries diagnosed with hemophilia in the MississippiCAN program.

Modifies the language that describes the rate categories for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) by removing the QMB rates in the rate-setting methodology. This change does not fundamentally change the formula for rate calculation.

Amendment to the State Plan to implement a new price-based methodology for private nursing facilities and cost-based methodology for state-owned nursing facilities.

The SPA allows reimbursement at the all-inclusive rate on a per-prescription basis for payment to Indian health facilities.

This amendment will end the Primary Care Case Management program.
