This SPA amends Colorado's eligibility application materials in response to stakeholder input recommending changes to improve readability of materials, streamline application questions to pertain only to eligibility determinations, and ensure that members of a federally recognized tribes have the opportunity to obtain all the benefits to which they are entitled.

This SPA provides temporary adjustments to the state's enrollment and redetermination policies, and cost-sharing requirements for children in families impacted by disaster events.

MD-17-0001-LEAD

Maryland's SPA MD-17-0001-LEAD implements a CHIP health services initiative (HSI) to improve the health of low-income children by conducting lead hazard home assessments to identify lead hazards in the homes of low-income children with elevated blood lead levels above 5ug\/dL reside in the state and abating any identified lead hazards in the children's homes.

VI-17-0010

This SPA provides title XXI funds for Medicaid expansion children up to age 19 in families with incomes above 73 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL) and up to and including 130 percent of the FPL.

WI-15-0010

This SPA authorizes Wisconsin to use title XXI funds through the option at section 2105(a)(l)(D)(ii) of the Social Security Act to pay for an HSI. Using remaining funds available that do not exceed the 10 percent limit on expenditures that include administration of the program, the state may fund activities that protect public health, protect the health of individuals, improve or promote the state's capacity to deliver public health services, or strengthen the human or material resources necessary to accomplish public health goals related to children.

Technical Changes Revises the general description and purpose of the state child health plan, to provide an updated description of all SPAs to date; Updates the outreach section to clarify roles of several entities; Updates strategic goals for the program; and Updates the budget to reflect the annual state legislature appropriation.

VA-17-0012

This SPA expands Virginia's outpatient substance abuse treatment services to include intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, medication assisted treatment, and case management. Effective July 1, 2017, this SPA adds peer support services to its benefits package.
