Effective July 1 2018 this amendment will provide a separate reimbursement rate for care and services fornishcd in licensed distincl units that provide specialized hospital-based psychiatric services dedicated solely to the treatment of persons aged 18 and older.

Effective July 1, 2018 this amendment provides reimbursement of graduate medical education cost attributable to individuals in managed care for State fiscal year 2019.

Increases the maximum age for a special population NF from 21 to age 30.

Effective February 1, 2018, this amendment proposes a Certified Public Expenditure (CPE) Cost Protocol for Dispropotionate Share Hospital (DSH) reimbursement to public acute care hospitals.

It continues supplemental payments under the Medicaid Quality Incentive Program (MQIP) funded by the state Nursing Facility Quality Assessment Tax (NFQA).

Increases payment rates for fee-for-service inpatient and outpatient hospital services by 4%.

Amends the state plan to reflect that prior authorization may be required for prosthetic devices, including hearing aides.

Updates the personal services fee schedule, the nursing facility budget dial rate, and the swing bed rates and clarifies the reimbursement policy for therapy services provided in nursing facilities.

Implements a pilot program.
