The final version should have reflected the $3.5 million, but instead reflected an earlier allocation. The issue was identified recently and CMS indicated this technical SPA should be submitted to correct language to reflect that previously approved.

Continues an additional class of disproportionate payments for acute care hospitals with 400 or more setup and staffed beds in a county with a population less than 500,000.

Continues disproportionate share hospital payments to qualifying teaching hospitals that provide psychiatric services.

Continues enhanced payments to certain academic medical centers.
