This amendment increases reimbursement for Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD); ICF/DD-Habilitative; and ICF/DD-Nursing.

This amendment, effective August 1, 2016, makes corrections to plan language on rate setting for Nursing Facilities - Level A; Distinct Part Nursing Facilities - Level B; and Distinct Part Nursing Facilities - Adult Subacute Units.

Reimbursement update for Telemedicine Services (eConsult).

This SPA was submitted on March 30, 2016 to revise the delivery system through which the Iowa Wellness Plan, Alternative Benefit Plan (ABP), is delivered to reflect the move to Statewide managed care.

This change will bring the state plan into conformity with the State's approved 1915(b) waiver, which outlines disenrollment rights. Enrollees can disenroll within the first 90 days of enrollment with an MCO, after the first 90 days.

This SPA was submitted on May 24, 2016 to remove Attachment 3.1-F from the Iowa State Plan. This attachment had previously provided federal authority for the state to operate their MediPass and managed care programs through the Medicaid state plan.

The purpose of the SPA is to include individuals in the Marketplace Choice, Alternative Benefit Plan with income 101-133% of the federal poverty level (FPL) in the Iowa Wellness Plan, for alignment with the state's 1115 demonstration.

This SPA renew's Idaho's 1915(i) State Plan Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) benefit for children with developmental disabilities.

This SPA adds ABA therapy reimbursement under the current Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment benefit.

This SPA revises the State's CarePlus Alternative Benefit Plan (ABP) to add home health aide prior authorization requirements.
