VT-10-003

Proposed amendment to your Agency's approved Title XIX State plan to (1) impose prior authorization requirements on high tech imaging, (2) limit the number of urine testing on a monthly basis; and (3) set limits and prior authorization requirements for physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

VT-10-004

This SPA transmitted an amendment to your approved Title XIX State plan to comply with the requirements of 5 1 12 of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008, (P.L. 1 10-275). This provision requires States to increase the resource exemptions for Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (QMB), Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiaries (SLMB) and Qualified Individuals (QI) to three times the resource limits of the Supplemental Security Income program. Prior to MIPPA, the resource exemption was twice the SSI limit.

VT-10-005

Transmitted a proposed amendment to your Agency's approved Title XIX State plan to update the organizational structure of the single State agency. Specifically, you proposed to (1) rename the Medicaid unit the Department of Vermont Health Access; and (2) elevate mental health to a department within the single State agency.

VT-10-006

This amendment revises the reimbursement methodology for nursing facility services. Specifically, there are two components: one is an inflation adjustment to the rates; and the second component is a reduction in the case-mix weights for the four lowest Vermont RUG-III case mix categories.

VT-10-007

This amendment revises the reimbursement methodology for inpatient hospital services. Specifically, it increases base rates for inpatient hospital and psychiatric services.

VT-10-008

Transmitted a proposed amendment to your Agency's approved Title XIX State plan concerning an eligibility determination system that provide for data matching through the Public Assistance Reporting Information System (PARIS) project or any successor system.

VT-10-009

This SPA proposes to expand the delivery mode and set payment rates for certain Medicaid providers to render covered Medicaid services via telemedicine.
