This amendment modifies the alternative payment methodology for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) and updates the reimbursement methodology for new RHCs and RHCs that have merged.

WA-11-020

The purpose of this amendment is to update the State plan by decreasing overall Disproportionate Share Hospital payments. In addition to reducing overall DSH payments, this amendment also establishes a new DSH pool, CHPDSH (Children's Health Insurance Program DSH). Hospitals can first become eligible for CHPDSH payments on July 1, 2011.

WA-11-22B

The purpose of this amendment is to update the State plan by decreasing the inpatient hospital services reimbursement rates for privately owned or operated hospitals that reimbursed on a prospective basis.

MS-12-006

Updates language specifying Mississippi State Department of Health services as Clinic Services, removes "Other" from Clinic Services, removes "horne visits" from Clinic Services, removes Rural Health Center (RHC) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) services from the Clinic Services reimbursement page and requires providers to use a CMS-approved cost report. Additionally, this SPA places ASC services on a new benefits page and re-pages ASC reimbursement to coincide with the ASC services page.

WA-12-003

The purpose of this amendment is to modify the State plan to implement a non-payment policy for Health Care Acquired Conditions (HCAC) and Other Provider Preventable Conditions (OPPC).

WA-12-004

This transmittal updates the optional State supplement standards for special income level groups consistent with the published 2012 Federal Poverty Levels. These changes are reflected in Supplement 6 to Attachment 2.6-A, pages 1 and 2.
