This SPA amends the provisions governing Early and Periodic Screening and Treatment EPSDT personal care services in order to revise the recipient qualification to remove the criteria regarding personal/caregivers availability in the home.
Amends the Cost Sharing sections of the State's approved Title XIX State Plan to permit Retail and Specialty Pharmacy Services providers to require, as a condition for providing care, items, or services, the payment of any cost sharing.
Eliminate the optional group of parents and caretaker relatives, reduces the income eligibility standard for the Section 1931 group from 150% of the federal poverty line to 133% of the federal poverty line, and to reduce eligibility for certain individuals who are eligible for Medicaid based on their eligibility for Medicare.
This SPA removes language from the state plan that does not allow for reimbursement for physician assistants for services provided under the Rural Health Clinic Services benefit.
Revises the reimbursement methodology for rehab clinics in order to increase the rates for physical and occupational therapy services rendered to recipients under the age of 21.
