The purpose of this SPA is to amend the provisions governing disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments to establish the qualification criteria and methodology for payments for the uncompensated care costs of inpatient psychiatric hospitals located in the northern area of the state with an academic training mission for services provided to uninsured and low-income individuals from the payment pool created in accordance with Act 447.
This amendment proposes to update private duty nursing rates and unit limits.
This amendment provides as attestation that the State is in compliance with the Electronic Visit Verification requirements for Home Health Services.
This plan is to amend Pennsylvania’s State Plan to reflect payment for each loaded mile of ambulance ground transportation and to change the date that the agency’s fee schedule rates were last updated.
To increase the income standard for its Ticket to Work Basic eligibility group and disregard “Work Incentive Accounts” in determining resource eligibility for certain non-MAGI eligibility groups.
