Community Engagement Symposium
The Community Engagement Learning Collaborative (CE LC) hosted a Community Engagement Symposium on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. The Community Engagement Symposium was an opportunity to provide a summary of community engagement work to date and lessons learned in states thus far. In addition, states and federal agencies whose programs also support community engagement for similar populations were able to engage. We've provided several resources that were shared during the Community Engagement Symposium. Please note there, are numerous design elements for states to consider when planning to implement a Community Engagement demonstration. These materials identify some focus areas to contemplate.
- Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Community Engagement Resource Sheet: Developed by ACF’s Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation. The resources enclosed provide useful research findings and guidance for planning, administering and evaluating employment and community engagement initiatives and demonstrations.
- Key Considerations for Eligibility Operations and Processes Presentation: This presentation provides an overview of some implementation planning steps pertaining to community engagement. Each implementation planning step focuses on operational changes, system capabilities and communication strategy elements states should consider.
- Systems Designs and Enhancements Presentation: This presentation provides insight into systems enhancements states are putting in place to operationalize their Community Engagement demonstration.
