Louisiana Adult Medicaid Quality Grant Program
Data and Statistics - Presents two quality improvement projects that Louisiana implemented through the Adult Medicaid Quality Grant. The two projects focused on: 1) Improving Maternal Health Outcomes by Reducing Early Elective; and 2) Reducing Plan All-Cause Readmissions among Adults with Mild to Moderate Mental Health Conditions. Reducing Early Elective Deliveries in Medicaid and CHIP
Quality Measure Guidance - Provides status on quality measurement and reporting efforts for perinatal care in Medicaid and CHIP. It supplements the 2015 Secretary’s Reports on the quality of care for children and adults. It utilizes the 2014 Child and Adult Core Sets and summarizes information on managed care quality reported in the EQR technical reports, Live Births Weighing Less Than 2,500 Grams (LBW-CH), Prenatal and Postpartum Care: Postpartum Care (PPC-AD),

Improving Access to and Utilization of Oral Health Services for Children in Medicaid and CHIP Programs
Data and Statistics, Policy Guidance - Presents state-specific findings on children’s use of dental services in Medicaid. Includes state-specific performance data for two Child Core Set measures: (1) Preventive Dental Services (PDENT-CH) and (2) Dental Treatment Services (TDENT-CH). For a measure to be publicly reported, data must be provided to CMS by at least 25 states and meet internal standards for quality. This report also summarizes information on managed care quality monitoring and improvement efforts related to oral health care that were reported in states’ External Quality Review (EQR) technical reports, Dental Sealants for 6–9 Year-Old Children at Elevated Caries Risk (SEAL-CH), Percentage of Eligibles Who Received Preventive Dental Services (PDENT-CH),
