What is a validation error?

A validation error occurs when additional information is required for certain fields on a page. To avoid a validation error, enter in all required information before attempting to validate reviewable Unit data. For many screens this will occur upon selecting a button located towards the bottom of the page to validate your entries.

How do I a request an additional role?

To request an additional role, navigate to My User Profile under the Records tab. After clicking the link to your name, on your profile, there is a button to "Add or Modify roles" in the upper right corner. This will give you access to modify your user profile to add additional roles or attributes. Information on how to use the EIDM Portal can be found at https://portal.cms.gov/wps/portal/unauthportal/faq. I tried to get into MACPro but received an Access Denied Error. What should I do?

If you attempt to enter MACPro at the link https://macpro.cms.gov  and you receive an error message that indicates "Access denied. You are not authorized to access this page", this indicates that you do not have the proper accesses in EIDM. All MACPro users must have an EIDM ID and access to MACPro through EIDM by way of an EIDM role. For more information on registering an ID and requesting MACPro access in EIDM please refer to the EIDM instructions for MACPro users at https://www.medicaid.gov/state-resource-center/medicaid-and-chip-program-portal/downloads/eidminstructionsmacprousers.pdf.

I tried to get into the EIDM Portal/MACPro but received an Oracle Error. What should I do?

If you attempt to access the EIDM Portal (https://macpro.cms.gov ) or MACPro (https://macpro.cms.gov ) and receive a blue screen noted as an "Oracle Error", please try the following steps to resolve your issue:

If you are clicking on a bookmarked link, manually type the link to the EIDM Portal or MACPro. You may also attempt to copy and paste. After doing so, re-bookmark the link.

Attempt to clear your cache using your browser's Options.

Verify that you are not using Internet 8-10. If you are not, attempt to use a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

How do I remove a role in MACPro?

This capability is still under development. Users do not have the ability to remove roles themselves. If a user would like to remove a role from their MACPro profile, they must contact the MACPro Help Desk at MACPro_HelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov. The help desk will provide you with next steps.

How do I reassign a task to someone else in my state?

This capability is still under development. Users do not have the ability to perform task reassignment. If a user has sent a task to another user unintentionally or if a user is unable to locate a task, please contact the MACPro Help Desk at MACPro_HelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov. The help desk will provide you with next steps.

How do I deactivate a user?

Users do not have the ability to deactivate themselves or another user from the MACPro system. If a user would like to be deactivated from the MACPro system, state users must have the State System Administrator contact the MACPro Help Desk at MACPro_HelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov with consent to deactivate said user. If a CMS user needs to be deactivated, contact the MACPro Help Desk at MACPro_HelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov with consent to deactivate said user. The help desk will provide you with next steps.
