Alissa DeBoy is the Deputy Director of DEHPG. She has been in federal service for over 20 years, working in high-level positions impacting Medicare, Medicaid, and the Marketplaces.

Before working in DEHPG, Alissa served as the Director of the Exchange Policy and Operations Group in the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, where she primarily worked with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace. Prior to that, Alissa was the Director of the Division of Drug Plan Policy in the Center for Medicare. Alissa also spent several years working in the predecessor office to CMCS, in what was then the Center for Medicaid and State Operations, and in the Office of Hearings.

Prior to joining CMS, Alissa worked as an auditor in a public accounting firm. She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Maryland College Park and a master's of health policy degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
