November 2017 Medicaid & CHIP Eligibility and Enrollment Report

Yesterday the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the November 2017 monthly report on state Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility and enrollment data.

Release of the HHS Poverty Guidelines for 2018

HHS has released new poverty guidelines for 2018 . The 2018 poverty guidelines account for the 2.1 percent increase in prices as measured by the Consumer Price Index between calendar years 2016 and 2017.

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Questions & Answers Session

In follow-up to a recent two-part EVV training series (slides available here), CMS is hosting this Q&A session to give states the opportunity to ask questions regarding EVV requirements delineated in section 12006 of the 21st Century CURES Act. States are invited to ask questions about EVV system requirements, penalties for non-compliance, available federal support, implementation strategies, and other topics related to EVV and the CURES Act. Ralph Lollar, Director of the Division of Long Term Services & Supports (DLTSS), Kenya Cantwell, Technical Director with the Division of Benefits and Coverage, and David Meacham, Associate Regional Administrator for Seattle on behalf of the Consortium for Medicaid and Children’s Health Operations will be facilitating the session with support from Lewis & Ellis and Navigant Consulting.
