Resources for States

The purpose of the State Resource Center (SRC) is to centralize access to information about CMS-State relations in an easily accessible format.  In addition, this section of the website will house access to Medicaid data and systems information to assist State Medicaid Agencies and researchers with their work related to the Medicaid and CHIP programs.

This is our initial launch of the site, with planned improvements in functionality, collaboration, and data availability over the coming months and years.

Medicaid State Technical Assistance Teams

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has staff teams ready to provide intensive, tailored help to States on day-to-day operations and new initiatives. MSTAT teams have expertise in Medicaid financing, eligibility, coverage, systems, administrative claiming, and waivers, as well as existing state-specific issues.
